T-TUBE

T-tube surgery, also known as tympanostomy or ear tube insertion, is a procedure where small tubes are inserted into the eardrum to improve ventilation and drainage of the middle ear. It’s a common procedure, particularly for children, to treat conditions like recurrent ear infections and fluid buildup in the middle ear.
